Supporting the Creation of a Senior Center in Goris, Syunik

About the program

In February 2024, The Amaryan Charitable Foundation donated to The Senior Center program in Goris, Syunik region, which is implemented by the WINNET Goris Development Foundation with the support of 301 Land of Wisdom Foundation. 

The Senior Center aims to ensure the well-being of displaced elderly people from Artsakh, specifically those without family or relatives. 

The WINNET Goris Development Foundation’s center will feature 24 rooms, a social canteen, and a daytime activity center, providing this vulnerable group access to necessities and social services. It also creates a safe and secure environment to help them overcome loneliness and isolation.

Amaryan Charitable Foundation contributed 18 million Armenian Drams (AMD) to The Senior Center program. These funds will be dedicated to purchasing the building of the Senior Center.

This project brought essential support to over 50 beneficiaries.
